Christine Stoddard, Founder & Creative Director
Christine Stoddard is the founder of Quail Bell Press & Productions and creator of its catalog of film, video, and publishing projects.
A trained filmmaker, author, and performer, she does everything from write to host to act to edit and more. Brooklyn Magazine named her one of its Top 50 Most Fascinating People, while the Freelancers Union crowned her the Hardest Working Freelancer of the Year. She's been the featured artist in Ms. Magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, the Portland Review, and other publications. Her creations have appeared in the Poe Museum, The Huffington Post, the Latino Film Market, The Players Theatre, Bustle, Coney Island USA, Broadway Comedy Club, and beyond. Her work has been supported by the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, IndieSpace, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, AnkhLave Arts Alliance, the Brooklyn Public Library, the Puffin Foundation, and other fine organizations. A Master's candidate at Columbia Journalism School, she holds an MFA from The City College of New York-CUNY and graduated from VCUarts with honors. Aaron Gold, Associate Director
Aaron Gold is a comedian, actor, writer, and host. He began collaborating with Christine in 2022. He has appeared on Mtv, Nickelodeon, TNT, and NBC, as well as lent his voice to several Disney cartoons. Aaron is the host of "Don't Mind If I Don't," a podcast-turned-TV show where fans and experts of things he doesn't like convince him why he is wrong. His mental health comedy show, "You Are Not Alone: An Uplifting Show About Depression" has been enjoying monthly performances at the Magnet Theater for over 9 years now, and has partnered with NAMI NYC to combat the stigma associated with mental health. He is a two-time Silver Telly award winner, appears in the upcoming murder thriller, "The Art of Diversion," sequel comedy fan film, “The Mask: Gone Viral,” and recently played several dark and disturbing roles in "Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares" at The Tank. He co-starred in the limited podcast, "Bad Guys & B-Sides," playing an angsty teenage guitarist turned magical sorcerer.
Aaron holds a BA in creative writing from Binghamton University. He has completed the full improv training at Upright Citizens Brigade and the Magnet Theater. Aaron loves crafting stories, creating characters, and coming up with fun, playful concepts for clients with Christine. |
