Our Books

Quail Bell Press & Productions publishes books, including anthologies of writings from Quail Bell Magazine and other titles. Previously collaborating with an external publisher for Quail Bell Magazine anthologies, Quail Bell began publishing books in late 2019. In 2020, Quail Bell published Her Plumage, co-edited by Quail Bell Magazine executive editor Gretchen Gales and Quail Bell founder Christine Stoddard. Prior to that, Quail Bell published zines recognized in Time Out New York, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Washington Post Express, Richmond Magazine, Style Weekly, Dirty Richmond, and other outlets. All books are overseen by Christine, who's the author of books recognized by editors at Art in America, Ms. Magazine, The Poetry Foundation, and elsewhere. Quail Bell books are available online and for order at most bookstores.
